The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The bar was big and had plenty of tables and chairs. Also some very comfy Chesterfield type sofa's and armchairs. The staff were all really good. Friendly, helpful and good at their jobs. No fuss no bother. The restaurant was very good and the food was hot and very tasty. I had a gammon steak on our first night and fish and chips on our 2nd night. Both meals were very good and portion size was great. Good for NEC, which is why we stayed. Easy to get to by car or cab but a bit of a faff to get back to at days end (not that the Arden can do much about that). Good for airport too as they do a park and fly package. We had a very good stay. It's a 3* hotel so don't expect the Ritz or Hilton and you'll be fine 👍👍

Nice and quiet hotel near the NEC. In our room we sometimes heard little bit airport noise but no trains or highway noise and our window was always open. We had convention in Hilton and it was 20 min walk for us from Arden. Resort World is 10 min walk max if you go from main doors to highway and left there. Through rail station is little bit longer. Spa is quite small but pleasant. Towels are free, but you need one pound coin for lockers. Kids arent allowed to spa. You have to book the spa time in advance, but in my case it was 30 min before I wanted to go there and it was Saturday evening, so not very crowded. Also very convenient to go to airport: 15 min walk to rail station and free shuttle from there.

The hotel is ideally situated for our concert at bp pulse. The bar and restaurant were fab and reasonably priced. The room we had was on side by the main A road and I have to have a window open (due to being of a certain age) so this what not ideal for noise from the road and the room was very warm so would suggest if like me and prefer a window open ask for a room away from the road. The bed was comfy although extra pillows would have been great but that’s a personal preference as the ones we had were very soft for me so maybe just a few others in the storage area of bedroom would have been great. We would definitely stay again though 😊

Free, extensive car park. Walking distance from Birmingham Airport (via free skytrain to Railway Station) and Resorts World, NEC and trains. Wifi worked well. Windows openable, so fresh air in rooms. Nice bath with good water pressure, spacious room with a desk and lamp. Plenty of space to hang up clothes and storage space. Tea and coffee, bottled water and biscuits provided each day, and help yourself to replenishments from reception. Very comfortable and quiet. TV with lots of channels.

Excellent choice for breakfast and quality food (£14 per head is quite high). Dinner was very good and well priced compared to breakfast. The hotel room was quieter than expected given that it is close to the rail line and airport. It is a very short walk to the NEC; about 15 minutes via Birmingham International station. As long as you leave by 2pm, parking is free for guests. The staff were professional and friendly and I will definitely use this hotel again.
